The 8990 Housing Development Corp. and the local government of Quezon City have signed a housing deal with 8990 Housing Development Corp. to provide housing units for Quezon City government employees and QC informal settler families (ISFs).
Quezon City Mayor Josefina Belmonte, 8990 Housing Development Corp. Chairman Mariano Martinez Jr., and 8990 Housing Development Corp. During the MOA signing, Belmonte noted that every Filipino family's dream is to own a home. "With this innovative project, 2,699 homes will be immediately made available to beneficiaries from District 2," Belmonte said.
She also praised 8990 for building a beautiful development for low-income earners since "they deserve the best."
For his part, Martinez declared that this milestone marks 8990's first housing project in which they have partnered with a local government unit (LGU).
He hoped these new, ready homes would bring the community "closer to an inclusive and empowered Quezon City."
During the MOA signing, she was also joined by Quezon City Dist. 2 Rep. Ralph Wendel Tulfo, Dist. 2 Councilor Mikee Belmonte, and Dist. 2 Councilor Julienne Alyson Rae Medalla.
