Russia has banned entry to its territory for 92 Americans, including journalists and security officials, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The move was in response to the so-called "russophobic" course pursued by the United States, which included sanctions of Russian figures, the ministry said in a statement.
The list of those banned from entering Russia includes employees of U.S. media as well as U.S. security officials, heads of key military-industrial complex companies and financial institutions that supply weapons to Ukraine, it noted.
The ministry added it would continue to expand the list to include those "who are directly involved in anti-Russian activities."
