The 21-year-old third-ranked Alcaraz won his first Roland Garros title against world no. 4 Zverev, 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1 and 6-2 on Court Philippe-Chatrier.

The five-set thriller lasted four hours and 19 minutes.

Alcaraz made history by becoming the youngest ever to win a major trophy on hard courts (US Open 2022), grass courts (Wimbledon 2023), and clay courts (French Open 2024).
