Belarus destroys Ukaraine drones


Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Saturday said that the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense shot down drones from Ukraine over the Belarus border on Friday evening.


According to the presidential press service on Telegram, air and defense forces entered a first-level alert state on Friday evening after Ukrainian air targets entered Belarus' airspace in the eastern Belarusian-Russian border.


Lukashenko told the media that the search for the wreckage of the destroyed targets has been underway since Friday night. Lukashenko said he suspected the targets were attack drones.


Lukashenko also revealed that the remaining drones flew in the direction of Russia, and information shared by the Russian side showed that these targets were shot down near Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast
