Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics with a career playoff high of 40 points, contributing significantly to their 126-110 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.
This victory gives the Celtics a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
In Game 1, Brown's crucial three-pointer with 5.7 seconds left in regulation forced the game into overtime.
In Game 2, he helped the Celtics overcome a five-point first-quarter deficit and build a 15-point lead in the second quarter.
Jayson Tatum and Derrick White each scored 23 points, while Jrue Holiday added 15 points and 10 assists for the top-seeded Celtics. Notably, the Celtics had lost Game 2 in both of their previous series this postseason, making this victory particularly significant.
For the Pacers, Pascal Siakam led with 28 points.
Tyrese Haliburton, who had an impressive 25 points and 10 assists in the series opener, managed 10 points and eight assists in Game 2 before exiting in the third quarter due to a sore left leg.
