VP Sara resigned as Dep Ed Secretary, but, In the midst of political changes and uncertainties, it is crucial for us Filipinos to reflect on our roles as citizens and the kind of society we aspire to build. The recent news of the inevitable resignation of VP Sara should prompt us to consider a more profound approach to governance and civic engagement.
Rather than blindly supporting individual political figures, we must prioritize our loyalty to the present government and the collective welfare of our nation. The rampant divisiveness on social media platforms demands careful scrutiny before we react, as our unity as a people is essential in overcoming the challenges that confront us.
While we may have diverse opinions on leadership and governance, we must recognize that our nation's problems stem not only from our leaders but also from the choices we make in selecting them. It is time for us to unite in support of the government, acknowledging that despite its imperfections, it is the only one we have to address our collective issues.
Our mindset should transcend the limitations of our leaders' understanding. We possess the knowledge of our country's challenges and must stand together with the government to find solutions. As the upcoming elections loom closer, we must exercise wisdom in choosing our leaders based on their integrity, capabilities, and commitment to serving the people rather than being swayed by personal gain.
Although this call for unity and responsible citizenship may seem idealistic, it is a necessary step towards a more cohesive and progressive society. By coming together, Filipinos can work towards a brighter future, where good governance, accountability, and the common good take precedence over personal interests.
As we navigate the complexities of our political landscape, let us strive for a nation where unity, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making prevail. Together, we can shape a better tomorrow for all Filipinos.

A Tribute to My Dad: The Late Eduardo Munar Sr.
This article is my tribute to my Dad, the late Eduardo Munar Sr. My father was a man of simplicity and intellect, and my life’s journey has been profoundly influenced by him. I vividly recall an investment that nearly turned into a failure but eventually paved the way for an intriguing business opportunity and invaluable lessons. My Dad encouraged me to take over the project, which involved security systems. With his unwavering support, I successfully navigated the challenges and made it a success.
Dad taught me the importance of caring for my employees and extending help to those in need. Although he often appeared tough, his heart was incredibly soft when it came to his children. I am proud to declare myself a certified Daddy’s girl.
Before I embarked on a career in IT, I found the field intimidating and overly complex. However, with my Dad’s guidance, I managed to navigate it smoothly. While my path has since shifted—I am now semi-retired and focusing on becoming a better humanitarian missionary—my Dad’s influence remains pivotal in shaping the person I am today.
I am profoundly grateful to have had a father who revealed the beauty within this chaotic world.
I hope he can see from heaven and feel proud of the person I have become. The void left by his absence is deeply felt, and we continue to miss him dearly.
