President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday reiterated the administration’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in the Philippines will be emancipated from debts.
In his speech during the distribution of 4,663 Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to 3,527 ARBs in Paniqui, Tarlac, President Marcos said the distribution is a reminder of the government’s support to farmers.
The COCROMs released to the ARBs cover a land area of 4,132.13 hectares and PhP124.64 million in condoned debts.
An ARB may have more than one COCROM since he can receive more than one Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) depending on the technical description of the land. | PND
