The Philippine Retirement Authority will be an event partner in this year’s Travel Sale Expo, organized by the Global Tourism Business Association (GTBA) and One Klik Events.
GTBA President and TSE 2024 Chairperson Michelle Taylan signed the partnership agreement with Mr. Bob Zozobrado, General Manager and CEO of Philippine Retirement Authority, with the goal of promoting the Philippines as a retirement destination for foreign senior citizens.
The Philippines is targeting to attract close to 4,000 foreign retirees this year, and have the number of foreign nationals seeking Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRVs) up yearly by 20% until 2028.
“I always look forward to collaborating with any project that is spearheaded by Michelle Taylan because I know it will always be successful. She puts her heart and soul into it with such flair and energy that I can’t help but wonder where her stamina comes from. It’s a privilege to be a part of Travel Sale Expo once again and I know it will be another successful venture on our part. PRA General Manager and CEO Bob Zozobrado commented.
“The Philippines is such a beautiful place to spend your golden years, that’s why we’re partnering with the PRA to really maximize the promotion of our country,” Taylan said.
“We welcome the PRA’s efforts in improving its services for foreign retirees, including the creation of more satellite offices, automating documentary procedures, and making sure the retirees are well looked after,” Taylan adds. “We’re hoping to get even more interest in retiring in the Philippines through the Travel Sale Expo.”
Travel Sale Expo 2024 has the theme ‘Experience the World, Travel is Life’ as it brings together over a hundred exhibitors from the airlines, accommodation, tours, and leisure sectors, with discounted rates and exclusive promos to be offered. The event is also a chance to discover new and emerging destinations and travel trends for bargain prices.
Catch the three-day event at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall from September 27-29, 2024.
