Lawmakers in full force for Cavite BPSF: 200 House members in attendance

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), being held in Cavite Friday until Saturday, has been showing an impressive turnout of lawmakers and public officials, giving their strong support for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr.’s initiative to bring public services closer to the people.

Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez expressed his deep gratitude to 200 members of the House of Representatives for attending the Cavite service caravan held at the Emilio Aguinaldo Elementary School in Kawit, Cavite, which delivered about P1 billion worth of programs and services to more than 120,000 Caviteños.

“I am deeply honored to be here with my fellow lawmakers who share our commitment to bringing efficient and fast government services to the people of Cavite and beyond,” Speaker Romualdez said, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in ensuring that government services reach every Filipino household.

Among the local hosts for the event were Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla, 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla and AGIMAT Partylist Rep. Bryan Revilla. Other lawmakers from the province of Cavite were also present in the event, including Reps. Adrian Jay Advincula (3rd District), Roy Loyola (5th District), Antonio Ferrer (6th District), Crispin Diego “Ping” Remulla (7th District) and Anniela Blanca Tolentino (8th District).

Several local officials of the province, led by Gov. Jonvic Remulla, were also present to show their support for the event.

“Ang bilang ng mga dumalo ay patunay na talagang pinahahalagahan ng ating mga mambabatas ang pagkakaroon ng direktang programang maglalapit ng lahat ng serbisyo’t ayuda sa ating mga mamamayan,” said Speaker Romualdez, leader of the 300-plus members House of Representatives. He highlighted the enthusiasm of lawmakers to support initiatives that directly benefit their constituents.

The BPSF in Cavite is part of a broader initiative aiming to visit all 82 provinces in the country, bringing government services closer to the people.

Speaker Romualdez noted that the services provided, such as cash and medical assistance, scholarships, and livelihood programs, had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of Caviteños.

“Together with our lawmakers, we are bringing meaningful change to our communities,” Speaker Romualdez said, expressing optimism about the continued success of the BPSF.

“With this kind of cooperation and participation, we are ensuring that government services reach even the farthest corners of the country,” he stated.

"Nagpapasalamat ako sa ating mga kasamahan sa Kongreso at sa lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan na nakiisa upang matiyak ang tagumpay ng BPSF. Patuloy nating iaabot ang serbisyo ng gobyerno sa lahat ng sulok ng bansa,” Romualdez added.
