The Dallas Mavericks secured a narrow 105-101 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, propelling them to a 2-1 series advantage.

Following their impressive 119-110 triumph in Game 2 at Paycom Center, the Mavericks showcased resilience and beat the Thunder at their home in Dallas.

Despite grappling with a sprained right knee, Luka Doncic orchestrated Dallas' offense, contributing 29 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

P.J. Washington also made significant strides with 29 points, 11 boards and four dimes.

For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the squad with 33 points, 12 boards and eight assists, while Jalen Williams chipped in 20 points, four rebounds and four dimes, but their collective efforts fell short.

In the Eastern Conference semifinals, Boston Celtics surged to a 106-93 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers, seizing a 2-1 lead in and reclaiming their dominance in the series.

Jayson Tatum led the charge with 33 points, complemented by Jaylen Brown's 28-point contribution in Saturday night's showdown.

Celtics ignited the second half with a commanding 14-0 run, maintaining a largely comfortable lead throughout the game.

Jrue Holiday bolstered the Celtics' effort with 18 points, displaying sharp shooting skills by hitting seven of 10 from the field and sinking three of four from beyond the arc.

For the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell led the scoring with 33 points, displaying prowess with seven successful three-pointers out of 12 attempts.

However, Cleveland faltered in their long-range shooting beyond Mitchell, collectively converting only five of 24 attempts from downtown.

The defeat marked the Cavaliers' first playoff loss at home in 2024, halting their momentum following a resounding victory in Game 2 in Boston, where they triumphed by a 24-point margin.
