MANILA – The new satellite office of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at a mall in Ortigas will enhance accessibility and convenience for settling traffic violation fines and processing documents, an official said Monday.
In a message during its launch, MMDA acting chair Don Artes said the satellite office at Robinson's Galleria is part of the agency’s thrust toward bringing government services closer to the public.
“The goal of this partnership with Robinson’s Land Corporation (RLC) is to make settlement of traffic fine-related concerns easier and more accessible to our valued stakeholders,” Artes said.
The satellite office was launched following the signing of a memorandum of agreement between the MMDA and RLC.
It is located at the Lingkod Pinoy Center of the mall's lower ground floor and is open from Mondays to Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Its services include the settlement of fines for traffic violations issued by the MMDA, lifting of alarms for drivers who have been placed on the alarm list of the Land Transportation Office and processing of drivers’ clearances verifying that they have no pending traffic violations.
Settlement of MMDA-issued traffic violations can also be done at its head office in Pasig City or through designated payment centers. (PNA)
