President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gave an assurance that no one will be left behind under Bagong Pilipinas.

The President made the commitment on Friday during the launch of various government services to boost the livelihood of the people in Nueva Ecija.

“Asahan niyo po na sa Bagong Pilipinas, walang maiiwan sa pagsulong. Lahat ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon na maging masagana ang kanilang pamumuhay,” President Marcos said during the launching of Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program in Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

“Kaya naman, hinahangad kong mag-uumapaw sa inyo hindi lamang ang pag-asa, kundi pati na ang tiwala at pananampalataya na tayo ay magkakaroon ng matatag na kinabukasan. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang bansang puno ng pag-asa, biyaya, at kaginhawaan,” he said.

The President expressed optimism that the country could reach its goals through unity among Filipinos under Bagong Pilipinas.

President Marcos led the launch of Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program, which was supported by the Department of Agriculture (DA), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), and Planters Products Inc.

Under the Pantawid program, the farmers will receive Intervention Monitoring Cards (IMC) to buy seeds, fertilizers, and other farm equipment from accredited merchants.

In addition, they will be given Php32,000 in assistance, with the initial Php8,000 to be released every first week of each month for the next four months.

During harvest, the National Food Authority (NFA) will help buy five tons or 100 sacks of palay at a price not lower than Php21 per kilo. The President said this will allow the farmers to earn Php105,000 per hectare, which will be coursed through their IMCs.

“Magsilbi sanang puhunan ang programang ito sa pagbuo ninyo ng inyong [pangarap]. Hangad namin na matulungan kayo sa pagtahak sa bagong landas tungo sa isang maunlad na bukas para sa inyo at sa bayan,” the President said.

“Nandito lang po ang pamahalaan at nakikinig kami sa inyong mga daing. Ito po ang laman ng isip namin mula paggising hanggang pagtulog, kung pano kayo matutulungan.” PND
