So who really walks and talks like the “Sick Man of Asia”?

I cannot help but retreat to a titter each time I encounter Duterte fanatics proclaim to the whole archipelago that President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. is seriously ill and must now step down and reveal his medical records.

That’s short of saying that their maven of malice Sara Duterte should now take over, being their self-proclaimed designated survivor.

The President is sick? Really? Which one, the current one or the previous one?

The current travels the countryside often these days giving presidential assistance to our farmers and fisherfolk and to many people. He literally walks his talk.

What about Rody Duterte? He cannot even walk towards the podium without being assisted. Bongbong is in the pink of health and is fit to carry out his tasks as chief executive of the land.

Any news on the contrary is pure black propaganda by folks who associate themselves with covert psychological operations with a concealed source but often with malice and a selfish agenda, spreading fabrications and deceptions.

They flaunt arrogantly the credentials of his daughter Sara Duterte, but would deny Bongbong’s. His educational background is good enough to land him a high-paying job in any multinational company anywhere overseas.

Take note of his academic achievements: High school in Worth School, England; Political Science and Economics in Oxford University, England; and an MBA, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Outside these, a golden experience not needing any diploma: the experience of having lived overseas for many years has given him a strong foundation on his character.

These are precious years of “education” so significant and vital as it indicates possession of a vast perspective so lacking in many of our legislators today.

PBBM’s performance as a public servant together with his education and experience – and his clean record, make him a fine leader worthy of emulation.

Interactive gaming versus Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority or CEZA’s interactive gaming operations., although offshore, is different from the POGOs being regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

One significant difference is that the money wagered in the interactive gaming operations does not even enter the Philippines as the bets are accepted and the winnings are being paid out by CEZA IG licensees domiciled outside the country through their own payment solutions, and not by the Internet Gaming Support Service Providers or  IGSSPs.

Further, the IGSSPs do not engage in interactive gaming operations but instead provide support services which do not include accepting bets and payout winnings to international players.

Foreign IG licensees do not accept bets, wagers, and any transactions emanating from the Philippines as access for international users from the PH are blocked. Bets and access to games from the US and other countries where interactive gaming is not legal are likewise prohibited.

Hence, the operations of CEZA’s IGSSPs  do not contribute to the problems on gambling in the local community and to the country in general. CEZA strictly implements this prohibition of PH bets to regulate gambling and as well as to control online access to gambling in PH, thus curbing any harmful or detrimental effects such as direct access might cause to the local community.

I believe CEZA has been steadfast in its commitment to provide a sound regulatory framework anchored in fairness, honesty, transparency, integrity, and responsible conduct of interactive gaming to enhance the integrity of the industry and provide protection to players, investors, and most especially the community.

CEZA has been successful in regulating the interactive gaming industry since 2003 and has been widely known to be the pioneering interactive gaming jurisdiction in Asia. CEZA is a member of the International Association of Gaming Regulators and is considered as the authority in interactive gaming in Asia.

CEZA’s regulatory framework is enhanced by two decades of experience and innovation which has been proven to be an effective regulatory tool in enforcing compliance in the interactive gaming industry.

This self-appointed son of god is a coward

To this very day, Apollo Quiboloy is still running from the law like a true coward that he is. He reminds me so much of Valentin delos Santos and his cultish Lapiang Malaya. They were a bunch of fanatics who believed they were above the law and thus did not respect authority above them.

Quiboloy’s Kingdom Of Jesus Christ or KJOC’s show of solidarity on the day the PNP were to serve a warrant of arrest as a response of support to its cult leader facing arrest for multiple charges including human trafficking, and sex trafficking.

He needs to come out and surrender himself lest he loses the following of many of his lost sheep without their shepherd. Come out in the open and face the music, and stop being the sour note that you are.

Random Memorandum: Blessie Mae Abagat, a singer from Camaligan, Camarines Sur, will be singing our national anthem for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s 2024 State of The Nation Address (SONA).

Factoid: The Tanaka Memorial was a document that described a Japanese plan for world conquest, beginning with the conquest of China. It was widely referenced in official American anti-Japanese propaganda, but most historians now believe it to be a forgery of facts.
