Up to P1.30 per liter oil price rollback on Tuesday

If you plan to gas up, wait until 12:10 am on Tuesday, June 11 (Tuesday) to enjoy up to P1:30 per liter price rollback.

Oil companies, including Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, Shell, Seaoil, and Unioil, have all issued separate advisories on Monday, announcing a fair P0.60 per liter cut on gasoline prices and a substantial P1.20 per liter cut on diesel prices. This move shows their consideration for the consumers.

Caltex, Seaoil and Shell will also slash kerosene prices by PHP1.30 per liter.

Last week, oil firms made some adjustments in fuel prices, but the good news is that these changes were not drastic, indicating a certain level of stability in the market. This should give consumers a sense of security.

“Year-to-date, total adjustment of gasoline and diesel stands at a net increase of P6.65 per liter and P5.45 per liter, respectively. Conversely, " Kerosene has a net decrease of PHP0.25 per liter,” the Department of Energy said.

As of June 4, gasoline prices in Metro Manila range between P54 and P85.12 per liter, diesel prices range from PHP52 to P81.25 per liter, and kerosene prices range from P71.90 to P84.40 per liter.
