Veni Vidi Vipi (I came I saw I complained)

Vice-President “Vipi” Sara Duterte is a flat earther. Other than complaining more frequently than always, she blames the Marcos administration for the “failure” of its flood control program.

Now just a minute there. Her father was President just recently for six years, her brother is the mayor, and another is a congressman.

This is clearly a case of passing the blame or “buck passing” to another for one’s own incompetence and arrogance. And now she wants more of what she had so she could continue this failure for the people?

Not only that. How can she justify spending P125 million of the people’s money in just 11 days? And furthermore, why the need for overmanning her security detail? Is she preparing for an internal conflict against those who still believe that the earth is round and not flat like her conscience and morals are?

And then comes Senate President Francis ‘Chiz’  Escudero who asked the embattled vice-president a similar question on the failure to implement a comprehensive flood control program even as her father, former President Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte had six year to do so, pointing out that President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos is only on his second year in office.

This, after Sara said that “The Philippines, as an archipelago frequented by storms yearly, should have a comprehensive plan ad a strong infrastructure program against calamities. But the Philippines now has a government that admits that we do not have a flood-control master plan.”

Methinks she should have told that first and foremost to her father. And we thought we heard enough.

But then here comes former presidential mouthpiece Harry Roque who proposed that Sara immediately take over the presidency in an acting capacity as he raised the possibility that President Marcos is seriously ill and may die in office.

Again, he should have told that to his former boss when they were in Malacañang. I have been a staunch supporter and admirer of Harry, but that has since gathered much doubt especially so with silly utterances like this.

This is the same Harry Roque who, when he was presidential spokesman for Rody Duterte, when asked about Duterte subjecting himself to a drug test, said “Nobody can compel the president (and the Dutertes for that matter) to subject himself to a drug test.

But now, no less than Harry Roque again would insist that President Bongbong Marcos take a hair follicle test. So what kind of mental lapse is this?

Oh I think I know. It’s the bitterness towards the Marcoses and the insatiable lust to return to Malacañang. The DDS are indeed your favorite Double standard Delusional Sycophants.

Even former Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador ‘Sal’ Panelo, in his attempt to look cute, said that “Sara Duterte is surrounded by the angel of light,” forgetting that the Bible in 2 Corinthians 11:14 talks about Satan masquerading himself as an angel of light. Read your Bible Sal!

Yes, many will agree that the Dutertes have warped into being a most hideous family, lacking good manners and gratitude, even far from the disgust we once had with the Aquinos namely Cory, Noynoy and Kris who have become a media sensation in their prime.

But the likes of the Duterte siblings led by their role model father have no place for a society who fears God, (no, not Quiboloy) obey instituted laws, have proper upbringing, and respect for others even if they disagree with their politics and agenda.

Sara looks good impeach (Correction: In peach)

If Sara’s message to the Marcos administration is, “Don’t be motivated by cash, cocaine, and champagne,” then our message to her would be, “Don’t be motivated by sheriffs, security, and Swift.”

Nevertheless, I once chanced upon a photograph of Sara Duterte wearing a peach colored shirt. Peach fits her. I think we should be gifting her things with that color.

The brewing talks about the impeachment of VP Sara Duterte has triggered a decision from former President Rodrigo Duterte for a political comeback should Sara be impeached over the controversial P125 million confidential fund that she reportedly spent in just 11 days.

Thus, there are reports that the Lower House is preparing for such. And we all know that should the impeachment ever take place and succeed, the Senate President becomes Vice-President as a matter of hierarchy of the incumbents.

And if so, someone named after a vital body organ can become the Second Lady. But please don’t tell me Chiz’s replacement will be a Senator with the mentality of a Sesame Street muppet.

Random Memorandum: If Apollo Quiboloy is truly the appointed “Son of God” here on earth and in the flesh, then why is he afraid of the police?

He should be practicing what he’s preaching. And one of those is found in Romans 13:1: “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”

Factoid: The Presidential Elections of 1969 was one of the most colorful elections because 12 candidates ran for president. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was reelected for a second term becoming the first Filipino president to win a second term.
