A lucky bettor from Laguna province won the P19.6 million jackpot in Thursday night's Lotto 6/42 draw. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Friday that the winning ticket, featuring the numbers 21-11-30-16-19-03, was purchased in San Pablo City, Rizal Avenue.
The winner has one year to claim the P19,630,380 prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, provided they present the winning ticket and two valid identification cards. It's important to note that winnings over P10,000 are subject to a 20% tax as mandated by the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 94 bettors each won P24,000 for correctly guessing five of the six winning numbers, 3,281 bettors won P800 for four correct numbers, and 38,991 participants will receive P20 for three correct digits.
The Lotto 6/42 is a regular draw held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The PCSO encourages the public to continue supporting its gaming products, which help raise funds for health initiatives, medical services, and other charitable causes.
