Charge those who helped Mayor Guo

Sen. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito grills government enforcement agencies on the escape of former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and her siblings during a public hearing Thursday, September 5, 2024 on a privilege speech delivered by Sen. Risa Hontiveros urging the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to cancel Guo’s passport last August 19. Ejercito said he wanted to get to the bottom of the matter in order to avoid a similar occurrence in the future. “We had many similar cases of escape in the past that it is already embarrassing. We want to find out those involved or those who were instrumental in her escape, especially those government officials if ever, so they can be charged accordingly.
