President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. vowed on Wednesday to continue working for Filipinos and ensuring their welfare amid the latest OCTA Research survey result indicating a surge in the number of his supporters.
“I have to say that it is nice to know that people are beginning to understand what we are trying to do,” President Marcos said on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Project-Stage 1 (IDRR-CCA 1) in Pampanga.
The President was asked to comment on the outcome of the recent OCTA Research survey which showed the number of pro-Marcos Filipinos increased to 36 percent in June 2024 from 31 percent in March this year.
According to the President, the survey is “good news.” He vowed to sustain the programs of the government.
“Nagde-decide kami para pagandahin ang buhay ng Pilipinas. Kaya’t tuloy-tuloy ang mga – ganun pa rin ang gagawin namin,” the President told reporters.
President Marcos inaugurated on Wednesday the Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Project-Stage 1 (IDRR-CCA 1) in Masantol, Pampanga.
The IDRR-CCA is expected to reduce the flood level and duration from 66 days to 17 days in the municipalities of Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, and Sto. Tomas in the province. PND
