PBBM‘s birthday wish: A united PH agri sector

For his 67th birthday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his wish for the consolidation of the entire Philippine agriculture sector to improve the living conditions of Filipino farmers and their families.

President Marcos made the remarks when asked by reporters about his birthday wish during a media interview in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, on Friday.

Manifesting his strong commitment to transforming the Philippine agriculture sector, President Marcos has concurrently led the Department of Agriculture since assuming the presidency in 2022.

The President led the launch of the Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program in Nueva Ecija, a program backed by the Department of Agriculture (DA), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), and Planters Products Inc.

Through the program, farmers will receive Interventions Monitoring Cards (IMC) for the procurement of seeds, fertilizers, and other farm equipment from accredited merchants.

The President assured that no one will be left behind under Bagong Pilipinas during the launch of the program. PND
